Default Motor Buzzing Sound on AUX

I been noticing a buzzing sound like a motor activating when i have the AUX option on my ML Navigation unit in use. Is this normal?

I believe there is a TSIB for this and they use a inline noise filter. Do a search and make sure your model year is applicable.

I purchased one off of Amazon for like $10 shipped. Works like a charm! But if you have remaining warranty and have the time to burn waiting at the dealership, they should fix it for free.

Its not noise through the speakers, its sounds like its coming form the unit itself. It does it when i have the AUX button enabled with or without anything plugged into aux.

Does it do it in any other mode? Might be a speaker or sub going out if so...

It's called alternator whine. Here's a good article on it:

I brought my car to the dealer and I wasn't in the TSB range so I and bought a Kensington noise reducing aux cable off ebay. No more whine!

UPDATE:

This sound that buzzes happens when i lower or raise the temperature, everytime i hit +/- on the temperature i hear the motor buzz. This is the same buzz i hear when AUX is enabled and nothing is plugged into it.
