Default Headlight Adjustments

Hi,

My auto headlights are lighting up the skies for the planes to fly!
what is the proper way to lower them? isn't the AFS suppose to adjust them correctly?

AFS is just supposed to auto level them.

If your cars still under warranty, take it to the dealer, they'll fix it in like 15 minutes.

Mine used to point downwards every once in a while, after taking it to them several times to get adjusted they finally got it tight enough so they don't get misaligned.

AFS assumes that your headlights are already properly aligned. If someone manually adjusted them higher, the AFS doesn't know that, it just assumes that is the correct height and goes from there.

I would say get them adjusted, should fix the problem, unless there is an issue with your leveling motor and/or AFS ECU.

yep, take it and have it done, unless you can find the adjust info online, but I think if it's still under warranty I'd just have them do it.
