Default Haze on Inside of Headlights

I did a search and could only find haze on the outside of headlights. At night I noticed a haze on the inside of the headlight lens when the lights are on. We have a 2015 with 21000 miles on it. Has anyone had this issue?

My 14 RX has the same issue. Not sure if it's worth reporting to dealer for warranty replacement or not. There is no way to correct the problem other than to replace which would be very expensive out of warranty.

I don't think the shadow is the issue here. It's the cloudy milky looking haze on the inside of the headlight lens itself.

You are correct. I have read through the thread regarding the shadow and ours is a definite haze on the inside of the lens. I notice it more when standing on the side of the car looking across the lens vs looking directly at it form the front. I do have a small punch list for the dealer to look at so I will add this to it and report back the outcome.

This is why I brought this topic up. I do notice that there are a lot of these lights on ebay for sale.

Let us know what you find out from the dealer. I would be surprised if the dealer offers new replacements but, you never know. I'd be careful of Ebay replacements if they are not genuine Lexus made. For now I think I'll just live with mine unless you get encouraging news from the dealer that might entice me to ask for warranty replacement.

Will do. I am approaching this as a safety issue. If the car is only two years old now, I am assuming this will only get worse with time. I am not considering ordering lights off ebay, I was just making an observation as to why so many are being offered.

Totally agree as to it getting worse. Will be looking forward to what you find out from the dealer!

Wondering if you've been to the dealer yet? Curious to find out if they do anything for you on this matter.

I have not been the dealer yet. It will probably be late spring when I take the winter tires off. I will need them to program the new TPMS sensors on the new wheels and tires.

The drivers side lens on ours even has a finger print on the inside.

my friend had a similar thing on his 2014, he went to the local dealer and it turned out the headlight unit itself wasn't properly sealed, so they did it for him free of charge.
