When i bought my car it was missing the "Scan" button on the dash. I asked the dealer if they could replace the button and they said that Lexus doesn't sell individual pieces and the only way they could solve my problem was by replacing the entire unit. I didn't replace it since the price was obviously too high just to get the button. After 2 years i found someone who totalled their car and they gave me the button for free (a nice club lexus member.) Im not entirely sure about the volume ****, but i think im safe to assume that that piece is not sold separately either. Its really unfortunate /:

Ah darn.. thanks anyways, guess i just have to put up with it till i can find an alternative rather than to spend big bucks on replacing the whole thing just because of that small problem

If your interested, i later found a cheaper alternative. Still too expensive imo, but its another option. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEXUS-IS250-...ht_1955wt_1189

Why don't you just use the volume controls on your steering wheel ?
