Default 100k

about to hit 100k miles on my 2006 IS350...most of it is highway miles. but the car is running great...never had any engine problems except for the recalls...any suggestions on what absolutly needs to be done..
I know the manuel says to change the radiator fluid but do i need to if ive never had to mess with my engine before???

your suggestions would be greatly appreciated

my suggestion is to follow the suggested maintenance schedule.

I would follow what the manual says, you might also want to do the spark plugs if they haven't been done (every 60K) and the brake fluid (every 30K).

Have you had your water pump replaced? I thought the coolant was a "lifetime fluid"?

nope..never needed to...the only thing changed was the fuel rail

Coolant gets replaced first time at 100k miles and every 50k miles after that.

I was always told that if its not giving u any problems then there no need to change it...any thoughts..and if i do change it how much does that cost

According to the manual at 100k you need to:

Replace engine oil
Replace engine coolant
Replace Cabin Filter
Re-Torque axle shaft flange bolts
Rotate tires (If applicable)
Misc. inspections

Cost depends on where you go.....dealership will for sure be more expensive, independent shop will save you some $$.
