Default Pending IS Build - Solid Options?

How's it going guys? I'm new here to Club Lexus, and am pretty stoked to see all the Lexus love around here! Now to cut to the chase:
I ordered my 2012 IS-350 a while back, and am waiting delivery within the next 4-10 weeks or so. I have kind of a special deal where I can select whatever I want - straight from the factory. Here is the setup I went with:

2012 IS-350 RWD - Obsidian (Black)
Factory F-Sport Package
Nav (no Levinson pkg available with f-sport due to shipping weight?)
Additional F-Sport Suspension upgrades (lowering springs, front and rear sways, etc)
Park Assist
F-Sport Exhaust system
I may add F-sport Intake and tint at a later date... depending on how she turns out.

So.. What do you guys think? Good setup? Will I be happy with this? I have gone back and forth with the F-Sport exhaust, have read good things, but some say in isn't neccesary and sounds weird. I have never heard it in person, which makes me a bit nervous.

I am a life-long Toyota/Lexus fan, and actually got the opportunity to drive a 2011 IS-F for about 3.5 weeks last year - I fell in love (M3s ate my dust ). Unfortunately, it was just a tad out of reach for my order this time around ($$$). Did I get the next best option? Thoughts?

In any case, it's good to be here, and I can't wait to officially earn my place here after delivery

Thanks!
Does anyone have pics of a similar setup? I think it will be a sick build, but I have never seen a black F-Sport in person - which makes me a bit apprehensive. If anyone has pics of a similar setup, it would be greatly appreciated - they seem to be next to impossible to find (except Club Lexus member IntegresS - her ride is sweet)

I have driven an IS-F and an IS350 F-sport, just not with all the same options or colors. Does anyone else have a black F-sport?

Welcome and congrats on your order!! You will be very happy with this car. The IS350 strikes a good balance of both athleticism and luxury

At first the exhaust can be a little imposing, but without it the naughty nature of this car is hard to come by. There's plenty of videos on youtube, just search F-Sport exhaust and you can see what your getting into!

Can't wait to see pics!

Sounds bogus. Why would +/-3lbs make any difference?!? Get a different shipper, or drop some other heavy option to get ML (if that's the case).

Yeah it seemed a bit bogus to me too. I actually talked to the people who send the individual vehicle orders to the factory in Japan, and they made it seem like they do not ship any F-Sport packaged models with the Levinson package... as if you had to choose one or the other. I like the stock system too, so I didn't complain too much since I didn't even think it was an option.
Does anyone else have a factory installed F-Sport that came with the Levinson package too?

Also, to reiterate - if anyone has pics of Black/Obsidian FSport with the additional f-sport lowering springs - that would rock! I have yet to actually see the exact specs of my order :-/

Congrats on your car but why couldn't you get ML if you could get any options you wanted? When I was looking for my car I would only get the car if it had ML, problem is it was a special order but the day I went in to order it, they had one coming in so they tagged it for me, trust me if you plan to keep your car and you enjoy your music and don't plan to mod the audio then the ML is a must option. The ML is a perfect fit for this car.

Welcome to CL! Great package setup, yea it's weird about the ML not being available on the F-Sport model. Definately take some pics and post them up when you get her in!

So does anyone else have a similar setup or pics of a similar setup? Don't see a ton of black 2011 or 2012 F-Sports around. There are a handful on CL, but I would love to see more.

Anyone who has (or knows of) where I can see an Obsidian 2011+ ISX50 with F-Sport package and F-Sport lowering springs, let me know. If there is another thread I am unaware of, please forvive me, then point me in the right direction. Please and thanks

As for the exhaust, the more research I do, the happier I am that I went with the F-Sport upgrade. Gonna be sweeeet!
