I have the 28 LED 5K VLEDS and they match the HIDs very nicely though a bit whiter.
No error codes.

They shouldn't give you an error code.

For anyone considering LED foglights, know that you will essentially lose the functionality of your foglights since LEDs (generally) don't project much light onto the road. They do look cool though.

True.
The LEDs only do light up the road a bit.I like the match with the HIDs even though the LEDS are a bit whiter.Looks great to me..

I had LED fog lights for a while, but I hated it. The only reason why I installed LED fog light bulbs was because I had halos in my fogs and I didn't want to melt the halos with the halogen or HID bulbs. LEDs stay cool so it's okay. The bulbs that I used consumed 7 watts of power. It looked great but it gives off no light, the beam of lights ends like 5 feet in front of the car. Now that I got tired of the halos, I took them out and put HIDs in and it's much better.

For the price of LEDs, why not just get an HID kit? Same price almost, you can choose colors, and it produces usable light. Either option should not give off error codes or flicker.

No flicker with my LED fogs.

chi,I installed the LEDs because I find I have enough light output with the
HIDs and can use the brights when I need more.
I just wanted a better match to the HIDs and the LEDs do match well and are a easy install.

You don't need resistors if you're putting LEDs in your foglights, however you would need them if you put them in your highbeams.
