You should be ok in the rear with a 255 tire. Wheel is a 19x8.5 +35. For comparison, my G37 wheels are 19x9 +30 (with the 15mm spacer installed) and I'm running a 255/35/19. I am not rubbing at all. I have trimmed a little off of my fender lip because I was rubbing with a 20 mm spacer, but I wouldn't have had to trim if I had initially had the 15mm spacer. So, with your 5mm less offset and the fact that you are running a 8.5" rim, you will be fine.

08 rwd 15 mm Spacers up front and 225/35/19 on Tein springs. Any ideas why it is rubbing now? Just installed wheels yesterday. Everything else was already on there with the factory wheels

With that wheel (which is a +35) and your 15mm spacer you now have a +20. You running S-techs or H-Techs? Rubbing on plastic only? You may have to tuck the plastic under the tab to keep it from rubbing or roll the fender.

Bama hit the nail on the head. Take a heat gun and push the wheel liner up and out of the way on the spot that is getting the rubbing. If you don't know where it's rubbing on the liner then apply chalk to the fender liner (have to remove wheel probably) then take car for a spin until you hear/ feel the rubbing. Take wheel off and wherever there is scuffs on the chalk/chalk missing heat up that area and push it up. Or just remove your liner all together which is what I am going to do.

Can anyone confirm that they will not fit without spacers up front?

I am running s techs. Do you think the problem will still occur If I take the spacer out? Or will it be worse?

the other guys pointed you in the right direction and i can confirm, it is the liner. Ive been lazy and still rub. its the center of the liner on the bottom. there should be a part protruding, just heat and push it in. If you take the spacer off it WILL go away.

@ Marexus, I dont know the size of the caliper but on my 250, there is alot of room. when i get home, ill measure it for you.

Is250 no.
Is350 needs a 5mm spacer at minimum. All u have to so is try & install the wheels on your car they will go but will hit the caliper thus not allowing the lugs2 seat correctly.

Anyone know what lug nut type the Genesis wheels use? I'm thinking a tapered seat of some sort by the looks of the lug flange on the wheels. If this is the case then some aftermarket lugs would be in order no? I don't want to get flamed for asking for suggestions but my eyes are bleeding from general searches this week. Please

By no I meant no spacer needed aka they fit on IS250's no problem. IS350 yes, you need a spacer at minimum 5mm.
I have these wheels. You'll most likely want hub rings too. (just google what a hub ring is)

tuner style lugs.
That's a 60degree acorn style lug.
I should know I have an IS250, with black powdercoated genesis track 19" wheels, tuner style lugs and the proper hub rings size.
I am not lowered but have dealt with lowered cars before. If you have rubbing it's a simple fix of either removing the liner or heating up the area it rubs at and deform it upwards/inward

So I took the spacer off of the front and they are still rubbing. Looks like I need to find out where it is rubbing exactly. Does anyone have pictures of where the wheels rub against fender liner? Would be really appreciated
