its most likely rubbing on the outter area of the fender if u have a 5mm spacer up front.

i'm running these with a 225-40-19 tire, and a 5mm spacer on the front to clear the caliper. It still scraps over bigger bumps. it's rubbing the outside corner of the tire against the top of the fender where they these two areas meet.

I've already pushed in the plastic and done as much to the fender liner as possible. The only way not to rub is to raise the car or get 225-35-19 or 215-40-19 tires

I have the rears on 255-35-19 and lowered on eibach pro-kit. the natural camber saves the tire from scraping

Looks like I am going to try out some V12's in 225/35/19 & 255/35/19. I'm a little worried about the 255 fitting on this rim and in the wheel well without issues. I may get away with it at stock height but if I drop 1+" or so it may be a different story.

+1 I couldn't have said it any better. When you buy something others like and you don't like, you will always end up regretting it and replacing it. Honestly, I love the way the rims look on the 2IS. Makes the car looks like a sleeper, especially on the IS350.
