Default WALD Kit

Hi everyone,

I'm looking into getting a WALD kit and a F sport lower spring and 19" wheel. However, I don't want to be too low so my question is would I still need the F sport springs? I'm only asking because ppl say you have to drop your car for 19" wheels.

If WALD makes your car lower, then I might just get the kit without the spring. Any inputs? Thanks!

adding ANY kind of kit will NOT lower your car. It will make the body hang lower to the ground. If you just put 19" wheels on then you'll still have a huge gap between the top of your tire and edge of your fender. Posted is a pic of Josh's 350 with a Wald kit and BC Racing coilovers on 19" wheels. You don't HAVE to lower it if you don't want to, but it looks much better with it lowered and a kit.

I see. So if I lower the car AND get the spring, wouldn't the car be VERY low? Since kit makes body hang lower to the ground, and spring lowers the car? Would I have to worry about scrapping?

depends how low you want to go. F Sport springs lower the car just a bit. Actually Josh had F Sport springs and shocks till he wanted to go LOWER! Many people buy springs and end up selling because they want to go lower later. Road Magnets lower the IS the lowest at 2" all around for about $270 brand new.

It's funny that I actually had to change springs twice. First I got the htech teins then i wanted lower. So I sold the h-tech to got the s-tech. Now guess what?!? I have coilovers. Save up for coils. So u can just go any height u want. IMO.

I have f-sport springs. It's very subtle, people ask me if I even have a drop lol. Buttttt I hardly ever scrape! But you can avoid scraping if you drive carefully anyway.

With that said, coils are in my near future.

I daily drive my car with coils and it's comfortable. I think if u get 19's an f sport spring drop won't be sufficient.. Just my 2cents

I mainly worry about scraping .. especially after I get the body kits ..

Would it look bad if f spring drop + 19" ?

So maybe I should stick with 18s?

I have the kit, just not the front lip. You just need to be careful. Yeah 19's on fsport springs isn't low enough in my opinion. If you did springs, I'd go with h&r since it lowers a little more than the fsport

^ +1 On H&R. Best springs IMO!

Here are my pics with H&R with 19" rims to give you an idea lol..

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...nally-low.html

With H&R its low (1.4" drop up front - 1.3" rear) ... but not slammed/low enough where you are rubbing/scraping. You still have to be careful though...

^ yeah that's about how low I am on coils with my stock 18's right now. It all depends on what you want...

you don't have to worry about scraping if you put on WALD with f sport springs. Just angle your car if your going through a steep driveway or so.
