So although my SL2Vi is not perfect, it does the job. I've had it installed on my 09 IS250 for about 2 years now. Recently, it seems like more and more the unit doesn't detect my ipod when starting the car, and the screen, while on the CD info screen, just displays blank data. And if this happens, if I switch to the radio (so I can at least to something), the volume is ridiculously low (I would need to crank the volume level to 30 just to hear anything).

Has this happened to anyone, or can anyone offer some suggestions?

Haven't had this problem with my ML+. Try reseting the unit using the toggle switches.
