My nav went out and I already tried the fix and nothing. I'm not gna spend 2k on a new one so…
Can I downgrade my console to non nav? I know the center piece fits but I'm concerned about the plugs in the back.

 

Exact what "fix" do you try? Bummer that the repair didn't work out for you.

I tried the fix where u repair the traces in the ribbon. Worked for some but not for me.

Why not just watch eBay for a good price on a used one?

Not sure how pertinent this is to you, but one consideration would be how this would affect resale. I know as a potential buyer, I would never buy a car that originally had nav, the nav failed, and the owner made some DIY downgrade or something like that. Of course if resale isn't a concern to you, disregard.

If the ribbon fix didn't work, then your other options would by FlyAudio or a used one either from eBay or a junkyard.
