Nav arrows on HUD

Nav arrows on HUD
Last month Dagsmcd noticed that the nav arrows that should appear on the HUD after entering a destination don't appear while driving. A few suggestions (referencing the owners manual) failed to resolve this. I too have all the settings for the driver assist/nav properly turned on for HUD nav display; similarly no arrows appear. The main map/nav screen display the turn arrows together with all the relevant destination data, however no HUD arrows. One poster suggested that the HUD nav arrows appear and disappear quickly making it seem as if the HUD is malfunctioning, but a careful comparison of the main nav screen to the HUD at intersection turns dismisses this idea. (assuming they should appear long enough to notice them) Has anyone -- in addition to Dagsmcd -- experienced this and found a fix?

Well my 2 cents worth - not sure what the settings are, but my navigation arrows appear in the HUD and a verbal prompt occurs when I am nearing a turn. It is temporary, but certainly long enough to see and take note.
My LC is not the Hybrid . . . .
I'm suspecting there are some settings deep in the cryptic infotainment system that need to be set. - - - Dare I say I suggest a trip to the dealer?

You prompted me to search further in the area of voice prompts. From the main map display find setup and voice. From there I saw that the Automatic Navagation Guidance as well as Voice Guidance in all modes was off. (See page 55 voice setting screen in the Navigation Manual) Turned each on and tested it. Viola! HUD arrows now apprear. Case closed.
