i wanna get rid of my yellow/amber tails...i think its ISF tails time. I too was wondering about the wiring I believe there was a DIY not too long ago.
There is no wiring involved. The harnesses are plug and play. I can tell you this with 100% confidence because I have the old amber pieces and their harnesses sitting in boxes from when I swapped them out over the Independence Day weekend.
A comparison of the OEM vs. IS-F tails. Notice the different pattern, which is why you need the different harness:
4-pronged versus 3-pronged bulb sockets. That's all the harness is: the wiring that plugs the bulb into the housing on one end and sends communication to the car about activating brake/taillights, etc on the other. I believe it is included in the purchase with your tails.
