from my understanding the oem isf tail lights are plug n play. no extra wiring is needed.

These lights should come with a wiring harness. Then they are plug n play.

I got a email from nigel said "you need to order the harness or modify your existing harness to fit with the IS F tail light"

I ordered mine from Sewell and the harness was included. Either way you will need the wiring harness to install these if you do not want to cut and splice wires.

I have a 2008 350. I bought a set of ISF tail lights (JDM) from ebay with no harness. the lights were plug n play no problem at all. All though I did have to trim the locking part of the tabs to get them to twist in to the locking position.

The tail lights do not come with the harnesses, although Sewell may include them when they sell them.

Early 06's have different harnesses than late 06+, so that is likely the difference.
