2011 Headlamp Bubbling Defect
By FAILED I mean the new set IE the set of 12s with the Black colored coating over the day light run times not the org. Gunmetal color that came with the 2011 failed it had a bad seal from factory which allowed moisture to get inside lights came on and worked but had a faulty seal somewhere which like I said allowed moisture to get inside and build up on my driver side light housing. . . . hope this helps and yes I had 2 sets of GUNMETAL colored ones fail with bubbbling paint and pealing infront of the HID light the 3rd set which was a 2012 set with the black coating failed due to the faulty seal took car back and they swapped out with another new set of 2012s black coated lights and hopefully keeping fingers crossed nothing more happens from it!!!!

It could just mean that the Lexus Tech didn't properly close one of the doors or gasket on the HID ballast which allowed moisture to enter the light after they washed your car.
So Im sure they will easily fix that for you..

As long as the new glossy painted area isn't bubling, that is a much smaller issue to fix..!!

has to get use the IS gas pedal, since it's a lot more sensitive and faster lol . So my car felt like the fastest thing ever haha
Just picked up my IS after having the headlights swapped out for the '12, glossy finish models. I'm extremely happy with them. "Eyelashes" aside, the brighter and whiter LED's are pretty damn cool, especially at 100% brightness during the day.
Much better than the other stock set-up.

So after i get mine replaced this week, when I want to put on the headlight protection film, So I say I have '11 or '12 headlights? Though I think that they're the same film pattern

I just had the 3M Venture shield put on the TSB lights. The installer did not charge me for it since he originally put it on the orignal lights when I had my car done.
Anyone else know about this?
IDEA! Thinking about having the F-Sport Grille put in when the dealer installs the new (replacement lights). The OEM grill comes out for the install, I believe so I should have very little, if any labor costs (I have a great dealer who gets it). Can anyone confirm - the grille comes out for this Service Bulletin? Thanks
