Default Outside Temp...Pretty Accurate

I have always been curious to know how accurate the outside temp display is...and this was pretty spot on...at least it was for warm temsp!

I've always wondered where exactly the sensor is located in the car. I assume its far away from the engine to prevent false readings.

It's located behiend the bumper grill.

Hey we get a balmy 59 degrees for Friday! 40+ degree drop in temp in 3 days? Yea that's normal here

Triple digits??? I've never seen such blasphemy on my thermometer. I swear my thermometer is broken. It's like never above 80 and never below 50. Stupid gauges. Or maybe its just San Jose...

99 degrees today in Greenville, SC according to the Lex at 5:30pm. The business down the street said it was 98...so it was pretty dang close.

After I wash my car at the coin wash the temp display drops about 10 degrees for quite awhile before it reverts back to the actual temp. Water must collect somewhere behind the grille that keeps the display down until it evaporates.
