@Dustin, yeah the pieces were pre painted. I was fortunate and bought the lip off of a forum member. At first us 2011 owners weren't quite sure if the lips could be installed, but after confirmation that there are cut outs imprinted on the backside of the bumper, it opened the door for all of us. I originally purchased the lip thinking that I was going to have to modify the lip, cut the tabs and 3m. And I think the previous member felt the same. Maybe that's why he sold them? But you can purchase these at the dealership...they'll tell u that it doesn't fit, but obviously just ignore them. These are meant to be replacement parts for the fsport bumper, not "add ons" for the regular bumper.

Great DIY Trza, recently I got the 2011 bumper, I really don't know the difference between the Fsport bumper, and normal bumper when the Fsport lip isn't installed. Pretty sure mine is normal, but can anyone confirm?

last pic, with foglight cover installed.

Rash it looks to be a 2011 Front Bumper. What makes these into a F Sport are the splitters that you see folks installing and these are the 2 parts that are attached to the corners of the lower part of the bumper hence not really a " lip ". The other part that makes a F Sport stand out if the inner mesh of an F Sport in the grill where it matches the lower half the bumper. Other than those two differences the F Sport bumper is the same as a normal 2011 front bumper.

^ some say lip, splitters, or spoilers.

but how can I tell if the splitters can be installed easily without making too much holes on the bumper?

Funny i have these splitters sitting in my trunk right now yes im a hiding them from the Mrs but i was hoping to install these with 3M taping which i have all the confidence in but one would need to drill or somehow take off all the tabs that would be used in the " drill " method ?!

I dont want to take the chance in doing this then the 3M method doesnt work as well then im left with 2 useless splitters ?? Others have drilled on their own which there is no way i'll do myself soo i'll end up dropping the car off at my bodyshop to get them installed. I think they're worth it since its a notable difference in the looks with and without these. Good luck

I cannot say 100% but Im pretty sure the 2011 non-fsport 250 or 350 should have all the marks for the splitters.

All 2011 bumpers have the markings. I think I was the first one on the forum to install them on a non-F-Sport model, on my base model IS250. I also installed the grilles as well.

You need to cut/drill 10 holes (5 per side) to install the front lip spoilers.

The shop did it for me, I didn't follow step by step, but I was really confident in telling them that it works by just making holes. Thank you guys!

My car isn't complete yet, as you can see.
