Question though, if you retrofit the LED headlights from the regular premium HID's, do you lose the assist (leveling) lighting in the headlights?

its not a bandwagon....its progression in technology and lighting in the auto industry, and the 06-08 tails look just like halogen bulbs lit up to me. its actually impossible to tell they are even led unless the brakes apply.

how was installation for the outer tails dub?

You have to change the harness as well which connects below the trunk floor, but it's pretty easy. You need a 10mm and a flathead.

As we obsess about taillights, hardly anybody outside of the IS-fanatics even notices in reality.

oh they notice. they just cant point it out, but they notice a difference. LITTLE things can make BIG differences!

IS-F tails, followed closely by '11 tails. '09-'10 look cool at night, but the swoosh looks silly with the amber or redouts IMO. The white sides help balance things out in the '11.

They do tend to notice LED taillights, but that's about it in reality.

I got my ISF tails, because the amber bothers me.
