I don't need an opinion if I want to change from ISF to 2011, but what I really want to know why when I tell people that I'm thinking of switching to 2011 tail lights they're telling me that the ISF is much better looking?
I know the ISF lights is more "flush" with the IS body, but that doesn't bother me. The 2011 design looks newer and fresh, and I'm thinking of getting it.
Always a fan of the 2009 tail lights, I just hated the amber signals, not a fan of redouts.
I just ordered some IS-F tails, but if the price is right on these I think I'd make the switch. Both look great, but I like the nighttime look (i.e. LED) on the '11+. Gotta get stealth/chrome bulbs for the turn signals for SURE.
I say 2011, like Rashoodz say, it's a fresh design... They may cost more sice you are changing inner and outer. But who cares, you have the $$$, do it.

Same here. I think the amber on the tail lights bothers me the most. After all these years Lexus finally decided to get rid of them on the 2011 IS250 and IS350.
It's so that you don't see any orange from the bulbs bleeding through the lens creating that "egg yolk" effect, which you can see in the pics Rashoodz posted. They still light up amber though.
