Haha yeah a lot of things! I'm only saying this cause people who got the free warranty are still whining and complaining they didn't get the GC. I talked to my service advisor today when I picked my car up and he said the following: When the car was bought new or certified, and a Lexus extended warranty was purchased, you qualify for the $500 GC. Lexus is doing this to offset the money you paid for the extended warranty. If you had the standard factory warranty, then Lexus extended that for free to 100,000 miles, but you don't qualify for the GC. So technically the people getting the GC are just getting a portion of their initial cost of the warranty back. Some people who didn't buy the extended warranty, or the previous owner bought it, have gotten lucky and been sent a GC. Consider yourself luck if this was you. Be happy with the free extended warranty if that is what you receive b/c its worth more than $500.

 

The powertrain warranty is for one year or 100,000. Well atleast thats what mine said... I was hoping to get the GC too but haha i guess not.

 

I actually paid outta pocket for the extended btw.

 

I actually have a 3rd party Lexus warranty and they should be sending me a gift card according the their representative since i canceled my extended warranty with them.. but that was 3 months ago. called Lexus and they are working on it.,keep you guys updated.
