I just got home from work, and had the exact same letter in the mail. It has the $1,500 loyalty certificate and also mentions that my $500 GC will be arriving within the next few weeks. I was thinking that something was wrong, and that I was going to have to call them again, until I saw the line about the GC coming. I feel better now, because it has been 6 weeks since I first called about it. I was starting to get worried......

From what i've heard is the only way you get the $500 GC is if you had previously purchased the extended warranty to 100K. If you just had the standard factory warranty, Lexus will extend the warranty to 100K. This is why different people are getting different responses.
Freakin Lexus, just got off the phone. Confirmed I'm part of the program but they still don't know what amenities i'm eligible for. For gods sake it's been almost 2 months I've been in contact with them, got messages that I should be getting something in the mail still not yet. NO ETA on when I'm going to get a response.

Got my $500 to buy my f-sport wheels but took me almost 3 months for all the paper work processing since I have to mail my 3rd party extended warranty for them to clear the GC.
Just be patient and make sure record all names and what is spoken for (status update date) so next time you can use them for negotiate. There are only a few specialist that are dealing with the recall GC stuff and I probably know half of them already

If I were Lexus i'd say F*** everyone who is calling in to get one of these. Lexus does NOT have to send these out. They are doing this as a courtesy. Consider yourself lucky if you get one, if not your SOL. I'm happy with the extended warranty. Is $500 really worth it?
