What color is your car? What model year?

You can just paint it and save money, but since you can't decide, what's wrong with your current one? I like the chrome.

 

That's a pretty personal decision that in the end only you can make for yourself -- just like choosing a color for your car. Congratulations on ordering the F-Sport Grille. If you really want other people's opinions, you should probably start by telling us what color your car is. It might help if you posted a picture of your ride so people can have some idea of what you're working with. From the links you posted, I'm going to assume you've got a 2009. Just be advised that if you have a 2011, neither of those grille surrounds are going to work. That said, I personally think the stock chrome surround actually looks best on most colors, but it really depends on what kind of theme you're going for. For example in the picture on the Sewell site of the color grille surround, the red does actually tie it together in an interesting way. But it all depends on what you're trying to achieve look-wise. The carbon fiber surround doesn't really do it for me, but that's just my taste. It's such a subjective matter, your end decision has to come from within.

i gonna paint the hood to white in order to match my car. If i change the grill, which grill surround will look nicer?

The carbon fiber grille surround on Sewell is just a vinyl wrap, not real CF. If you are going to paint your hood white, I would suggest a color matched grille surround. Black or CF grille surrounds on 09-10 light colored 2IS's look odd because of the two "points" at the bottom of the surround.

 

What will your future plans? I know you will change some parts of your car.

I like color matched (white) grill bezzel in general, but not too sure how it'll look like with the F-Sport grill.

 

Aw damn I was hoping this was real CF... I've got an Obsidian IS (07) and am SICK of looking at this silver outside grill... Wish I could see a pic of the CF from close up and afar... I may just go with the color painted match .. cheaper anyways...

 

If I were you I'd get the replica Blitz grille that is real carbon fiber with mesh insert. It's cheaper than all of your parts and it's on eBay.
