Guys its not a big deal ! ,but the news loves to put down TOYOTA And LEXUS . Thats what happen when you get to the top auto maker in the world and you miss up every body wants to put you in the spot light :-) . If you start checking every auto makers for recalls the list goes on ,but nobody hears about it on the news

Because they are not infallible....

Lexusis305, since you are the one to be doing this work, what does it entail and how long does it take for each car?

More or less it all on the tech and his level of work ,but its not to bad to take apart 15mins check for any leaks and replace gasket if need 30 to 45mins . When I get full details and specs well keep up to day

Guys, it's just putting a wrench to a sensor. It's hardly worth getting excited about. Unless you don't like free gas.

I just hope I can get a loaner. I could use a nice RX for a weekend in Tahoe.

Your Welcome

Even though I work for a Toyota dealership, I am still a Lexus owner...all of these recalls affect me in 2 ways, concern for my own vehicle and representing a manufacturer...

One of the main reasons for joining Club Lexus was to see if I could help someone, I know it sounds corny, but it is true...so if I can accomplish that and drool over how I wish my IS looked, COOL...

One question, I checked the Lexus Drivers website and it says that my car is part of the recall. Do I have to wait for my letter or can I just go ahead and make an appointment?
