dealer fail?
So I brought my 2010 IS 250 in for its complimentary 5K service this morning. As I left the dealer I immediately noticed two things. 1.) the drive height seemed off, too high in the front and 2.) my front tires were rubbing when turning. So I took it back and told my service advisor that it appears that they rotated my tires as if it was an AWD and not RWD, which mine is. Come to find out I was right. Now I waited almost 2 hours for my service which wasn't too bad given the waiting area offerings and my service advisor told me on my next service they would pick up my car at home and leave a loaner and then drop my car off. I appreciate the offer and definitely will take advantage of it, but should I give them a bad survey based on what happened or let it go seeing they are making up for it on my next service?
I would say what happened as to insure it won't happen to the next person. But not to get anyone into trouble, just for information constructive criticism. That way they might pay more attention to the car they are working on.
find another dealership for service. huge oversight. who knows what they will mess up next time. at least get them to find the most experienced tech to work on your car.
by the way, the pick up your car and dropping off a loaner isn't that great of an offer. they offer it at my dealership to everyone. so feel free to be honest on your review.

would have to agree. they probably didnt notice and it was an honest mistake. at least they seemed to try and help you the best they could.
State what REALLY happened. People need to be cautious of what they are doing because we pay hard earned money at dealers to get the best possible service for our cars!! Because we WANT the best service we go there!!
