I have my car at the dealership for the recall and I need the 60K mile service done on it. They said they can knock it down to $450 from $750 since they are already taking it apart for the recall. Is that a decent price?

At 60k you need:
Oil change- $50 incl. parts for dealer to do it,
Air/cabin filter changes- $50 parts, do yourself in 5 minutes
Brake fluid change- $100 job incl. parts for dealer to do it.
Spark Plugs- $75 in parts plus 1-2 hrs labor.
So that's $275 plus the 1-2 hours labor.
Given dealers usually charger $100/hr labor, $450 is about right.
$750 would've been insanely overpriced... and $995 beyond insane.
