Default removing red-outs

does anyone know how to remove tail red-outs? i am probably going to upgrade to the 2011 light that has the white lens, but for now I need to remove the red-outs

Just park it out in the sun to get in nice and warm. Or use a hair dryer to heat it up a bit to loosen the adhesive. Then peel slowly.

Then use adhesive remover (Goo Gone) to remove the gummy/sticky residue.

Are you gonna redout the 2011 tails? j/k

just keep them on, most likely if you sell them the next person will red them out anyways, this way you will save both you and the buyer some time

agree with Phresh. next owner might want the red outs on. but yah u can just peel it off easily

You can peel them off and then remove an residual glue with nailpolish remover.

Why do you want to remove them? But like they say, hair dryer and should be easy to peel off.

hey hows it going guys. i always here red-outs but what does that mean?? anyone have a regular pic and a red-outs one.

If they were anything like mine from Aerotect they just fell off on their own. Mine lasted weeks.

Just lift an edge and pull.

"red-outs" is a short term for applying red film/overlay on the yellow/amber parts of your tail lights to make it all red. That's why it's called red-out.

If you do a search for red-outs, I'm sure you'll find plenty of pics.
