Greetings all... My drivers side HID headlamp turns on for about 2-3 seconds then turns off. The passenger side stays on but it cant be a burned out lamp since it comes on then off, right?

Anyone else have this issue or has advice on what the "blank" is going on?

most likely its the bulb, swap the bulbs from driver to passenger side. if it is still happening, than its the ballast.

sounds like the ballast, where in TX are you located? I could take a look at it if your close

Im in Austin. Ill swap the bulbs and see what happens. If I get the same outcome how difficult is a ballast change?

if you are still in warranty, just bring it in. But the ballast is located under the headlamp assembly.

Most likely ballast.

If you're off warranty, just replace the whole kit. They're $25 from DDM, incl. bulbs.
