Im in a bit of a jam. I have been waiting for my car to come out of the shop for quite some time now after i got sideswiped by a NYC cab driver.

I replaced the whole left side with brand new OEM parts (both doors, fender and quarter panel).

When it came down to replacing the vertex side-skirt i had, i decided to just purchase the replicas since you cant purchase one skirt individually, they only come as a pair. I didn't want to shell out all the money for another original vertex pair since im considering getting rid of my car soon.

The problem is that when the body shop compared the original vertex sides that i had to the new replicas that i purchased they noticed that throughout the whole center of the skit there is no hardware or tabs to mount it to the body, and only leaving an area on both ends to mount them. The body shop asked me to come in and tell them what they wanted me to do because they are concerned that they wont stay on and will everyually just crack and fall off since there would only be like 2 screws holding it on.

So for those of those who decided to go the replica route, what have you done to attach them to the center of the body, or is there anything that could be done.

Also, if anyone has a driver side vertex skirt laying around ill be more than happy to take it off of your hands.

Try and see if they can just glue the center portion to hold it on

Maybe glue some tabs to it? You can use an L shape perhaps.
