I see your point Lou, but history shows we've missed you as a customer from the beginning thus we're still trying to figure out the best method to reach you. Might this be the minority you're referring?

I ordered one set, my next mod would be F-sport bumper, but I've heard that the 2011 parking assist sensor are smaller than the previous model? I wonder how it would fit? I think there are some one on the forum did the conversion? can anyone confirm how would the sensor fit? thanks

The loaded lamp option is required for Halogen users because it includes the required light ballast and HID bulb. However, if you've out-smarted us then I suspect you'll want to source your own light ballast and bulb on your own to lessen the cost.

can anyone answer if an hid kit will be sufficient for the stripped version to work? or is the stock balast and hid bulb totally different from that of an hid kit?

i asked darrel the same question, but he didn't have an answer for it.

If the KIT you're referring to is simply the ballast and the bulb, then I see no reason it would not work however without having more specifics it is difficult to determine if what you want to work will work without trial and error. We already have a solution to remedy your concern (loaded headlamp option), however it seems you're attempting to use something else in it's place.

Again, if the HID KIT you currently have consists of a bulb and the ballast then you're simply substituting yours for ours. Why wouldn't it work?

So from what I understand, you can order the 2011 (non loaded) headlights and just put an aftermarket HID kit correct? This is for an 06' with halogen.

This is what a stock ballast and wire look like... These components easily work with the OEM 2011 HID Headlamp Kit..

I do not think any aftermarket kits or ballasts will be plug & play into the OEM Housings..

Also, there is only one style and size of D4S HID Bulb that will work with the OEM Housings.. (from 2006 to 2012)

Just my .02 cents

Darrel, I just or a set of Striped 2011 headlight, but I want to know the kit come with the newer Relay Blinker? and pre-wire the housing to 50% or 100%?, or any modification could make the LED at 100% brightness at all time?

It does come with the new relay flasher. I made a mistake and ordered a second one, but thankfully Darrel caught it.
