Wonder how it might look like with the Philips Ultinon 6000k bulbs.......
+1 with the pics of Ultinon with the LED! Cant wait to get my car back from the shop, I would post a pic (6000K ultinon with LED)

Should be good with Ultinon. Maybe a slight mis-match because the LED is 4300K.

Sango,
It's quite a mismatch, the low beam is pure white with a hint of blue in its brand new state, hopefully after some time of use the color may shift a little. I think the original HID bulbs' color is closer to the leds' color.

The leds are very bright if you're looking straight at them when lit, it's even blinding if I can put it that way.

It will work on yours just as it works on mine, don't worry, no wire splicing necessary.

While your attempting the bracket install, you will see that it will not clear the dome cap on the underside of the housings..
YOU will have to dremel / cut / hot knife that section of the bracket out that touches the dome cap.

You will want to use these brackets to avoid bumper sagging..

Thats the only part of this process that requires some customizing...

Also, once your done with the swap you will get an "AFS OFF" blinking indicator light in your gauge cluster...
- If your car is already equipped with Factory HID-AFS headlights & wiring.

Those equipped with NON Factory HID-AFS housings, will not get a blinking indicator.

The only thing is these parts (I think they are brackets for the front bumper to attach to) don't fit anymore, I wonder if all the other guys who installed theirs have to do some work for them to fit or do they just leave them out.

Joe Z,
Will do that the next time around, thanks much. I do have the blinking "AFS OFF", just have to learn to live with it, it's one or the other, don't want to mess with the instrument panel.

Since the 07 car has Ultinon 6000K. Mine has no hint of color at all - haven't notice any shifting.

I believe you may have seen my thread a while ago about my Ultinon combo.

Did you get them from Nigel? They have to be the same light output then but for some reason mine have some blue tint in them comparing to the oem ones I got in there before and much whiter as well.

Yes, they are from Nigel. Could be due to the headlight housing as well.

So the AFS OFF light is blinking? I thought someone mentioned it just stays on the bottom left of the instrument cluster. Does it get annoying?

So, taking out just that one led dosn't effect the other lights? I thought a bunch of them went out if you pulled one?

Right now, I have a peice of electrical tape covering it . It works, but it's kinda ghetto.
