Hi, just purchased a new 2010 IS250.

Do the 2010's have the key fob window down feature off by default from the factory?

Ive held my unlock button and none of my windows or moonroof will roll down...
everything else is working normal.

Please help!

Yep car is off..

All i do is hold the Unlock button right? I've held the button and nothing lol.

I remember reading somewhere that the 2010 RX's & ES's have it off by default.. so im wondering if that is the case with the 2010 IS's

Yep, its off and locked..

Looks like someone else is having the same problem with their 2010 ES... maybe the 2010's have it OFF by default now??

Hoping a few people with 2010's will chime in.

mine was the same, on their paper said it goes down, but reality it didn't.

Dealer will set it for u if you want...Remember, you still have to go inside car to bring up the windows lol

Mine was off by default as well. I had the dealer fix that since it is blazing summer.

I wish there was a way for us to do it ourselves.. I avoid dealerships like the plague.. lol

I visit them only when necessary.

If you look at the PDF Javy posted in that link, you'll see some settings (like the seatbelt alarm) can be changed at home. For other changes, like turning off your DRLs or changing the key fob window roll-down feature, you must bring the car to the dealer.
