Default My radar detector install

Searched around alot on here. Havent seen anyone mount it like this before. I figured I just share the idea. Some of you really **** guys may not like it being the display is upside down, lol. But if you have it on HIGHWAY mode "H" you'll never know the difference. Also some of the older radar detectors have a setting that allows you to flip the display. But I dont think any of the newer models do that unfortunately. Whata you guys think?

Nice. Does the radar get blocked? Seems too high.

^ Would think your loosing half your sensitivity with the mirror restricting its field of view.
Afterthought: Is the upper tint on a Lexus metallic? I know my Audi is and blocks RF (Cant put a transponder up there for bridge tolls.)

^^^ your sunroof will auto retract in full open or close position without turning the dial, have that on my 06, wonder why it is not in your 09, but mine is 350 tho.

That's because 09s don't have a dial.

the stem and the dot matrix is blocking the detector. nice idea in theory but not very practical.

the 09+ have switches instead of a dial.

it sits a little above the review. My dad has been installing radars in his car like this for the past 20 years. I had it like this in VW for about 5 years. The radar still works fine.
