Has anyone experienced this door locking problem?
My passenger side door lock won't lock. See the video for what happens when I try to lock it. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Yes the car is still under warranty but they've already fixed this problem once and it was such a hassle. They shattered my window last time I brought the car into the dealership and that hasn't been my only issue with the dealership.
I haven't tried but I'm hoping I can fix this myself by popping off the door panel or something. I'd rather do that then not have my car for a week again.

I rather bring it to the dealer or a different lexus dealer that is more competent. You don't want them to blame you for the problem if you can't fix it yourself.
Did you check the invoice on your last repair? It usually list what was done to fix or replace.

That exact thing happened to my driver's side when I had my windows tinted. Something just got off a little bit when they put the door panel back on - I had them fix it before I left. Took about 5 minutes.
If it's still under warranty, definitely take it to a dealer. If you don't like one, take it to another. They should all be willing to fix warranty issues as they get paid for that stuff by Lexus corporate. And a week is crazy. If they had your car for a week and not only didn't fix the problem, but shattered a window, I wouldn't return to that dealer.

Actuator, cables connecting actuator to door lock, or the door lock itself.
Can you lock the door manually? Or does it get stuck? Do you feel any resistance? If it gets stuck/resistance, the door lock has something wrong with it.
Removing the paneling is pretty easy ( 2 screws i think). I would take off the panel, try pulling on the cables to lock the door. If this works, then I would say it's the actuaTOR. Actuator is about $180 and I replaced mine in about 90 minutes.

Same thing happened to mine after my windows got tinted.
Whenever I would move the car after just turning it on, the cars doors would try to auto lock and do the same thing.
Dealer warrantied it by replacing the door lock actuator as someone said above, but there may be a way to fix it without additional parts.
