Why pay someone? This is probably the easiest mod to do other than applying redout vinyl.

And what do you mean changing out the front light? I think you mean upgrading to the led headlights? Your car does not have the led in the front?

Just ordered a set of the flank bulbs for my '12 IS F and they do not fit the puddle lights. They do fit the vanity mirrors and doors, however, they are too long to fit inside the housing for the puddle lights.

Does anyone have an alternative supplier?

I've upgraded all the lights except the Trunk, Reverse and DRLs, because these links on the original post are not found on the VLEDS website any longer. Does anyone know an updated link where I can get the 6K Ultra Bright Trunk light, Reverse Lights, and LED DRLs?

Thanks,

Veach

But will they match the VLEDs 6K ultra bright lights I have already installed? I don't want to get different brand LEDs and then have to replace all the ones I already paid for and installed.

Thanks,

Veach

So one of my 8 LED Vleds parking lights started flickering and like they no longer sell that particular bulb ad vleds.com so I got these instead. http://www.vleds.com/6-5k.html
HUGE improvement, a fuller pure white light that more closely matches my HID. Not a bad price either at $9.99.

Has anyone compared the brightness difference between VLED's vs PrecisionLED.com? I like how precision includes the tools to go along with the LED's.

Just picked up the "premium" kit from PrecisionLED.com, installed it tonight when I got home. They had a 25% (approx $20 off) promo running for Christmas, came out to $68 shipped for dome, vanity, map, and trunk + free tools.

I asked them what the difference was, they said
Premium bulbs are a 5730 SMD LED architecture type that is new on the market and offers a higher quality design, longer lasting bulbs, and brighter light output.

These new 5730 leds are the brightest we have ever sold and thus separated into a premium package. Although the regular package is great and one we have sold for years, the premium package is meant for those that one the absolute brightest bulbs available on the market.
The trunk LED I had to hammer down to make it fit like many others that had the same issue, and after I got it as flat as I could on both sides, I still wasn't able to operate it with the on/off switch so I just left it in the on position since I never really have a reason to turn it off.

Here's a crappy camera phone pic, it's not the sharpest, but the color portrayed in the photo is spot on. I went with 6000K.

I considered V-LED's since they're so widely spoken off, but the fact that I'd end up with an extra dome light bulb + have to buy tools separately made me go with this instead.

Reverse Light LEDS

I'm done with the rest except for the above, and having a really hard time figuring out what really fits and works.
