Has anyone ever heard of someone changing out the brake lights with brighter LED's? The stock ones are ok but it would be nice to get as bright as the new Audi's or infinity brake lights.

And I would also want to do LED's for my license plate lights but I heard that you cant even get to the stock ones.

You will need to bake, open, and desolder your tail light LEDs. This is for both the tails and the license plate lights.

Whoa - were you on Infinitiscene? My last car was a FX35 - I was Boosted4runner on there.
Hilarious to see you over here too. Lol

Haha yes. I sold the FX and got an IS too (moved to the city so needed a smaller, more gas efficient ride). I remember you from the scene

Question HID Powerhouse?

Has anyone purchased LED interior lighting from HID Powerhouse in the Vendor forums? I think they are relatively new. I'm wondering if anyone has tried their LED interior lighting.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/clu...our-lexus.html

I was also considering Precision LED since it includes the self-install tool kit. From what I read on this forum, it sounds like Precision LED's lighting is a more comfortable light that is not as bright as VLEDs.

I just replaced all the Bulbs with LEDs in my car and they look great, the only ones I have not done yet are the door red ones and the trunk but will pretty soon, and there's no need for a special tool just be real careful but I did all mine with the same plastic tools I got to fix my broken screen on my iphone it worked just fine... And all my LEDs were bought from DDmtuning.com for like $30

Thanks!!!
you know you can get the bulb size number and just put it in the search and a list of leds will pop up anyone of them will work for that bulb size.

Reverse size is 921 and the DRL size is 9005. As of today 1/30 the reverse leds are out of stock on vleds. But here is the link for reverse leds from ijdmtoy. http://store.ijdmtoy.com/25W-CREE-Hi...led-sku319.htm
