LED Lighting Replacement Guide (w/Pics)
Do you know of JLC has any lumen ratings on their LEDs? I couldn't find any on their website. Maybe you can post some pictures of the output against a white wall when you have a chance.
The 2IS trunk light is unique in that it has a rare festoon size (~27mm compared to the 29mm and 31mm standard versions) and it's angled. As a result, it's better to use an LED board so that the light shoots straight down. It will still required some slight modifications to the festoon adapter in most cases, again due to the odd size.

+1 for picking one manufacturer and sticking with them, whether it be V-LEDS, JLC, NigelJDMParts, Sewell or eBay. 6000K from one guy won't always, and usually doesn't, look like 6000K from another. The good news is that LEDs don't really exhibit fading over time so you don't have to worry much about replacing LEDs at different times (like you would with HID bulbs).
Which parking light did you go with? Make sure you just ship via USPS not not FedEx or UPS. Should be maybe $0.50.
Those look like they'll give you a concentrated beam of light. They'll look bright, but might not spread enough light to cover the field of view for your backup cam. For that reason, I still recommend the ones Joeb427 just referenced (and the ones in my guide): http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED-B...-p7526829.html (6000K variant)

I tried asking JLC about that but I have not heard back about the brightness. I will try to get pictures when I'm back up north with a tripod so I don't have to use flash on my camera.
I had the same problem, and it would blow fuses. It ended up being the resistor inside the led being broken. I just threw them away and ordered a new set. LOL
Just replace the front dome lights (VLEDs in 5K) from the suggested leds on page 1. They are super bright, especially with all three of the lights on.
What do you recommend for something that is much more dim and toned down. It's so bright, my eyes hurt when I get in.
Thanks.

I had these in first but liked the one above more.

A 360 bulb won't be as bright as if the enclosed assembly had a reflective shiny interior but the side lights do give off some light.
I wanted white and not too bright so I went with these even though a 360 design only one front firing LED.
