Sorry I don't own a Lexus but we may do buy the end of the week we are thinking of trading in our BM

I am already in the toyota family kind of... here is my truck a TRD supercharged hilux

are there any common problems with the lexus that I may experience ?
It will have to be an IS250 as the IS350 doesn't come out in Australia till later this year

Welcome to CL, here's a picture I took when I traveled to Brisbane with college.

Anyway, people complain about rattling, but I don't have this problem, at least it doesn't annoy me. I have a dead headlight after 3 years of driving, I'll fix that soon. Some people find the IS250 slow if that bothers you. Which 3-series is that btw?

hey, im in sydney australia aswell
i have a 07 IS250 Sport (18" rims, navi, ML stereo, alcantara)

i bought it 2nd hand, with 26,000km's on it, back in march
its a great car, and i love it (mainly cuz its probably one of the best cars u can drive on ur P's)

no real problems, except, make sure u get ur brakes replaced or watever, with the new low brake dust ones, cuz the ones i have now (havent been replaced yet) make a bad sqealing noise at low speed, ives heard theres are TSB for it

yeh, i would also (if i was on a full license) wait fora 350, but since im in my P's and cant drive the 350 anyway, the 250 was good enuff for me

look out for a SGM IS250 Sport with 18" rims, rocking red P plates, probably me, lol
