I'm changing my windshield now also. My clips holding the molding broke and the windshield wasn't installed correctly. So im just going to replace the whole window and get new molding and clips for them. The clips im talking about is the light blue looking ones, they also broke.

 

Some bad luck you got. I hope you dont have to post anthing else gone bad in the future.

I had the molding removed and some of the molding was stuck in the blue clips. I just used a flat head to pry the lue clip open a little and a needle nose to pull out the old molding.

 

wow. tell us who your insurance company is! I'm paying a bit over $1k with $500 deductible.

 

my blue clips broke too. So im just going to get all the clips replace while im getting the molding. I got AAA and $100 deductible, but im not going to claim it because i just got the car last week.

 

I have AAA insurance.
