Will those wheels fit? START HERE.
Im thinking of picking up some rims off of someone, 20x9f and 20x10r w/ 22offset. I got Project Mu BBK front and rear. So Im wondering WILL this fit? How much poke-age are we talking about? Tire size recommendation? Thanks
given that much poke, it would have to be at least 10mm.
yes, some, 225/30-19 + 245/30-19.
HI,
New to the forum and looking for some experienced help.
I'm wondering if 19x8.5 +30mm and 19X9.5 +24mm will have rubbing issues
would running 235/40/19 and 265/35/17 tires be ok for my AWD system?
I'm lowered on F-Tune springs.
Thanks for your time,
Jon

For springs you should be fine in the front but the rear with 19x9.5+24 with 265 series you might rub not big bumps, get your fender rolled/
225/35-19 in the front, 245/35-19 + rolled fenders in the rear.
The fenders should be pulled? can't seem to find anyone can do that for me in where I live. Only rolling. Which one needs pulling front or rear?
ouch... but i suppose that's to conform to the german TUV standards (aka "autobahn-worthiness"). another reason to buy authentic, but i digress.
you can try using bolt pattern adapters (5x114.3 to 5x120) so you can run BMW wheels, though i don't know if you can find a set that are TUV approved. maybe eibach and/or H&R would retail those adapters?

edit: ahh i forgot to post another question
whats the difference between rolling and pulling the fenders?
edit2: oh funny, i am not allowed to say ****.

so to answer your questions, yes - albeit slightly, and both.
ya it is all about the standards, which are really high. around here you can't even think about redrilling bolt patterns or cutting springs. the tüv inspectors will get a heart attack if you tell them about these things. god im so jealous of everyone who has not to deal with such a cluster****.

the difference between rolling and pulling the fenders is what you're doing to it to achieve the same goal: create as much clearance as possible for aggressive offset wheels and/or wider tires. rolling keeps the body lines by "rolling" the inside lip of the fender flat, while pulling widens the fender edge and basically alters the body lines.
Mv350 should be able to demonstrate what pulling is.
225/30-20 + 245/30-20.
may not need fender mods up front, will need them for the rear.
Hey CL, I'm going to be putting on a set of 19's pretty soon and I'm not sure if they will look good. The specs are 19x8.5 +14 with 3 inch lips all around. I know that I'll have to roll my fenders and maybe even pull, but with those offsets will the wheels poke out too much from my fenders? Also, what size tires would you suggest? I daily drive my car and take it on canyon runs a few weekends out of each month. Any feedback would be appreciated!
i am so sorry to hear that. i would ask eibach or H&R if they have any spacers so you can run effective offsets (vs. pure offsets). i think H&R does. use spacers to lower the effective offsets so you can still get the stance that that 2is has in that link in your previous post.

I think I will just wait until Rota brings the linea corse 818 to germany.. their german homepage says coming soon.. If if buy the same wheels from my link, I will get the same stance, without spacers right? though getting spacers would be no problem
edit: ahh forget it, the questions was answered before, thanks anyways

you can make it work for daily driving, but if/when you decide to push it you'll you won't enjoy the aggressive offsets and semi-stretched tires.
i'd recommend a staggered set-up with something wider than 255 in the rear. otherwise, you'll just be fighting for steering response up front and traction in the rear...
ahh thanks.

on a related note and personally speaking, i'm a firm advocate in authentic wheels that pass JWL/VIA/TUV testing (DOT-approved is a sub-par standard). unfortunately, i'm labeled as an "elitist" or a "brand snob" because of that... /OT
