doesn't matter how wide the wheels are; it's the tires that are making contact with the road.

unless he's trying to max out the widest tire he can fit on those wheels, there's little relevance to calling those wheels "skinny".

i'd stay w/ the 8.75" up front and go wider in the back, but a square set-up w/ same-sized tires at all four corners allow you to rotate the tires and get more life out of them.

Im going to be modding the front bumper/fender tab tomorrow. Do you guys prefer the method of shaving the tab down and relocating the screw, or bending the tab up? I ask because i am planning on notching the tab past where the current screw is, heating it all up, and bending all (metal tab, oem screw, bumper tab) of it up.

Does anyone know whats the minimum size spacers needed for ISF rims to clear the front brakes of an IS350?

Just picked up a set of ISF rims off ebay and totally forgot spacers were needed. I'd like to get the smallest spacer possible that will allow them to fit. Thanks!

Also will ISF tpms sensors work w a 2IS?

1. i don't know, but based on the pics in the first post of this thread my guess would be 10mm to be on the safe side?

2. IS-F TPMS sensors will work w/ a 2is, but you will have to get them reprogrammed.

Thanks I read that post too. I'm concerned with the studs being too short. Is 10mm safe to run on stock studs or will I need to get extended studs/spacer w studs in them.

I have staggered OEM front 225/40/18 and rear 255/40/18

Looking to get TSW willow 18 x 9.5 and use with the OEM tires. Will that wheel size fill all around?

extended studs are recommended.

They are needed or get spacers with them pressed in already. I changed the studs out on my IS up front. tap them out with a hammer. take an open ended steel lug nut and an impact wrench. and pull them back through. after check the torque on your lug nuts for about a week every so often and they will fully seat without a problem. make sure to pull the stud through as much as possible.

GNOSIS GS3

Wheels fit AWSOME on stock fenders and with no spacers, looked flush. But it wasn't enough for me
Read below.
Bro am about to pull the last hair on my head, I need your advice.

Remember my specs
19x9+30F 225/35/19
19x10.5R+42 245/40/19

I added a 15mm spacer in the rear, puts me at +27 if I am correct. In the rear I RUB. Worst part is I have shaved the infamous metal tab, rolled and pulled my fenders. Something is still shredding the lower part of my tire sidewall (close to the rim)... Any ideas?

I was thinking maybe camber,
What camber are you running?

Any help would be appreciated?

By the way the fenders have been rolled twice, went back to him after thinking a proper job wasn't done the first time. Went to Anthony the famous Miami fender rolling king, great guy and wasn't offended at all, instead he did everything all over again. I highly recommend him. Someone please chime in.
