Default Replacement Fob Cost

I somehow managed to lose my fob for my 09 IS250. While i still have a spare, I don't like knowing I don't have a backup in case the need arises. Does anyone know the average cost for replacing a fob?

erg its quite pricey unless you can find one on ebay. i think a replacement fob is around 140 at sewell. but then you have to take it to the dealer to have it programmed to your car. should cost around 50-100 dollars to program it at the dealership. just be glad you didnt lose all your keys. to reprogram from scratch would cost you quite a bit more

most dealer around LA want 250 to 350 for a new smart key.

You can purchase a used one off ebay for around 60 dollar and then have the dealer or locksmith program it. Had mine program for 100, so 160 total.. took about 30 minutes.

If you lost all your keys, expect to pay 800+ and towing to the dealership.
