Help us understand please.

Do you mean rear windown defogger lines? Or do you mean side window reflections off the dash lights maybe?...

My preference on sport sedans is a uniform tint % on all the windows (except windshield) for a nice showcar/concept car look.

Isn't that a bit of hassle to have fronts tinted? Just wondering guys. I plan on doing all my windows on my IS some time in the future.
it can become a hassle at times. ive never been pulled over, even though i chose a 23% tint, as recommended by Peter at California Tint. i do have a cop friend (my best friend's husband). but thats not the reason why i decided to get my fronts tinted. not sure if most of you go by this prophecy, but when people say you cant do things, what do a lot of them do? they actually do it. similar to prohibition where people couldnt drink, yet alcohol was still smuggled in and eventually prohibition ended. im hoping its the same with the front window tinting. i know its a problem for cops to see into the vehicle, especially the driver side, but enough people are doing to to the point where it could be seen as normal. hoping times have changed to the point where this law gets changed soon. but thats just me...

The tint goes over the defogger strips on the rear window so it warps the incoming light. It's kind of hard to describe the effect, but when there are headlights behind you it's almost like you are seeing double vision x10.

I know what you mean, I experience the same thing on my rear window at night only.
