how much could this cost?

I know this is going to be several thousands $. I got caught in that freezing rain around 11am this morning. Seeing how NJ just blows, they didn't start salting the roads until after all the accidents.

I hit someone's driver's back light while i was in a skid. I wasn't even speeding, going about 5-10 mph. I thankfully didn't keep spinning into the on coming road. I need to replace the passanger side front window and doors. The lock and auto window stuff still works and driving wise its like nothing happened.

anyone have any experience with damage like this? I'm thinking $6,000+ to fix. also, anyone in morris county nj know of some good auto body shops. I will try to add a picture, but having trouble getting it to my pc from cell.

if you have full coverage, like you should for a new car, then it will be the cost of your deductible.

+1 should cost you more then your deductible.

had it for 3 years, collision not on plan anymore (taken off last year)

post some pix. Doubt it would be 6k. if your gonna do it yourself look around for a parted out car in your same color or a diff color and get it painted. Find a good body shop they might can work some majic.

Why on earth would you do such a thing? The value is still high and so are the parts. It's worth it to pay for the reduction in risk.

Lets see some pics. Can't really tell how much everything is going to cost from your description. From what I read, I think the total cost will be under $6K. Good luck. Hopefully the IS will be repaired sooner than later.

Dude, WHY would you take off full coverage? You never take off full coverage on a car worth more then like 3k.

I'm thinking 6000$ is in the right vicinity depending on whether or ont the rocker panel needs to be replaced. And the fender needs to be replaced too, dont be a nig about it

Damn Damage looks pretty bad. If you need to replace both whole doors. and if you do it right and not "Half-a**" it, your looking probably under 10k. I had to replace some door panels and those cost 600 e/a from lex

Ouch! hurts my eyes to see and read this tragic story. Like all have said, no cheapo on the insurance. I hope you work things out, i would check all junk yards in your area for a parted out IS.
