Paint for interior plastic trim?
Anyone touched up the paint on the interior trim on their car?
I just bought a used IS250, and the cover piece for the center vents (above the stereo/nav system) is chipped. The prior owner said his wife had an air freshener clipped to the vent, and it scuffed away the paint.
I checked at the dealership this morning; the cover trim piece is not available separately, but only as part of the entire vent assembly -- $240ish. Ouch.
I think I'll look for some paint. Anyone done this, and found a bronze-ish color touch-up paint that matches decently?

olsen,
Not sure about the paint. But here is an alternative perhaps. It is the set of days inlays that you can get in multiple colors, styles, etc. This is for a 2006 IS2005 w/o nav.... however you can search for your specific model. These guys are cool, perhaps you can see if they will sell you a smaller kit or just the air vents? Good luck.
