Hello there,

I would like to ask you guys a few question about this product:

Is this unit compatible on European models?
How about maps of western europe? are these available?
And mat: Will you ship this product to Europe?

Thank you very much!

Alan

Hi Alan,

Not sure what are the hardware differences between the European models and NA but you can use iGO and put any map you want.

Default DEST. Button

Is there a way to link the Destination button beside the NAV to anything else beside the maps that come with the unit?
I am using iGO and was hopeing to link it to an iGO function or maybe something else ?

Thx

Bobby, at this time there is no way to do that. However, that could be achieved thru software coding, so that might be an option in the future.

I just posted an installation guide in a new thread. Check it out and let me know what you think. There are some holes in it, but I am hoping that people that have done this can help me fill in the details.

I have this problem sometimes when using an original dvd. It doesn't seem to get stuck with a dvd-r disc though. Maybe it's because the original dvd is a little thicker due to the printing on it. And the only to way to get it to eject is to stick another dvd in there to force it to spit out.

Having a tough time getting iGo8 to work perfectly but that’s me. So far I think I have racked up around 10-15 hours testing and poking around with the system and configuration. There are few things that I would really want Fly Audio to change on the next update.
1. The ability to use the car’s Aux input. Tried it last night, doesn’t work anymore.
2. Do not flash radio station when I have GPS up. Ok for new track.
3. Display Text. Display song titles and Radio text. The old led display can display those messages when Text is pressed.
4. The console brightness control **** doesn’t work on the Fly Audio.
5. Able to transfer the GPS files to another faster and bigger SD card.
6. More settings on the GPS…I don’t like that pink arrow!
7. When I was playing with iGo8 maps, I ran out of memory when it tries to show all the details.

I might find more little issues here and there but so far the system is very nice.

Once again, Thanks Mat and Nick! It was very nice meeting you guys.
well that sucks the AUX doesnt work anymore, i was thinking of buying this but that kinda killed the whole idea, thats how i listen to my sirius sat radio, is there a way to get it to work..anyone?

I think the wiring is there...I think its more of a software issue.

was the AUX port working before the updates? Anyone tested this? If so, yes it can be fixed by software, but if it never worked before, it might need hardware tweaking.

Default iGO 3D cars

Just add the 3DCars directory and the GFX dirrectory.
Now choose the car from your 3D map setting
