i've heard reviews from people who do have it...it basically makes the car more fun to drive IMO...but it won't actually do anything in terms of acceleration.

All it's doing is lying to the car about how far you pressed the gas pedal.

For the same result, without spending hundreds, just press the gas pedal further.
