My Bluetooth worked fine for the first month I had my car--I have a Verizon BlackBerry Tour and a 2008 IS 250. Last week, BlueTooth started dialing out automatically when I started my car, although it wasn't dialing anyone specifically--just had the speaker come on with static and the screen said I was "talking". I would hang it up immediately on the NAV screen. However, I was unable to place any calls through bluetooth after that happened each time, even though my BlackBerry said I was connected to bluetooth.
I changed a few settings on the phone for clarity purposes (echo, etc.) and restarted it and this original problem went away...for about a week. Now, seemingly unprompted, it has started auto dialing every time I start my car again. I'm very frustrated that I can't use bluetooth on my hour-plus commute each way!!
I have restarted the phone and tried disconnecting and reconnecting the bluetooth, no luck. I also called the helpline on the lexus bluetooth page--was on hold for a long time and was then forced to leave a message, which of course was not returned. My sales guy is less than knowledgeable, so I don't know where to turn next.
I haven't tried another phone, and it sounds like there have been issues with the Tour (particularly with Lexus). I just thought it was odd that the Tour worked fine for the first month and then stopped out of nowhere. I do have a work phone, a Curve, so I will check that. Though I think I'd have to use it for a month or so to determine that the phone is the problem since the Tour worked fine for so long.
I probably have to go to the dealer...they've just been less than helpful thus far so I'm hesitant to waste another Saturday there (I work an hour away from my dealer/home, so weeknights are out).
I believe firmware is only for the iPhone, so i'm not sure what to do about my blackberry.
viettho--you had this exact problem? it actually does this ghost dialing every single time i start my car, without fail. i tried re-pairing the device, but that didn't help.

RIM updates firmware just like Apple does. You received a data cable and software when you purchased your phone - grab your cable, ignore the software and download this - http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/
The same issue is being discussed on the Prius board, happening on a 2006 model as well as a 2010 model with NAV for one poster--sounds like a Blackberry issue.
it happened to me too. After 1-2 months with my 07, it stoppped working. I sat out in the car for 15 mins working away between the car and the phone and did something to get it back... Good luck as the manuals on the car and phone was no help...
Looks like I fixed it! All I did was uninstall the last app I downloaded right before I started having issues, restarted my phone and now its working fine!
