2009 IS250 Window Tint

I just had my car tinted... 35% all the way around. It looks really good but now I hear a creaking noise coming from the rear dash area. I checked the third break light but that isn't it. It does it on the slightest of bumps and any body flex it seems. Any ideas? Its very annoying.

I don't have this issue! I think you might have to find exactly where the noise is coming from and go from there. Have someone else drive your car while you sit in the back to pin point where the noise is coming from.

i have the same problem.
for me, it is there always if the road isn't 100% flat. the rear window vibrates and creates that noise. it sounds like rear dash that making noise.

I searched on CL and i think it is possible that the tinter touched or pushed the rear window's clips with their scraper.
I think I started to hear it after my tint was done.

I made an appointment this coming Monday for lexus to check it out.

It has been almost a month and I'm getting sick of it

no problem.

Yeah I did my 2007 honda accord at the same shop but it didn't have this problem..
i guess the way lexus engineered is different.

I looked in 3rd brake light but it is dead tight and does not vibrate.
looked c pillar plastic interior cover and around speaker but those have good fit and doesn't vibrate.

my rear passengers said that it comes near passenger's rear c-pillar rear window area. so I'm thinking probably there are some clips around there to hold the window.

please let me know if you find the answer for this problem.

btw i do window tint at home by myself for my other car (LS430,scion tc) after i got tint for my honda but tinting IS was the hardest. I couldn't do it perfect and tint shop messed up 3 windows so they have to get it done again.

i wonder if the dealership will take care of it if you still have warranty....can't hurt to try since yours is a 2009
