Default music cuts out when using aux port

when i use my ipod the music will randomly cut out from all of the speakers except the front driver side speakers. this is a different issue than what the TSIB corrects right? my car is 2008 though so i think the TSIB doesnt apply. is my problem isolated or has others had this happen?

Mine use to do that also. It turned out to be faulty wires. I got a new one and it worked fine again.

You're right... the TSIB is for noise in the line, however they will perform the fix on any year can if you complain about it.

Same thing happen with I use my MP# player on my sidekick but does not happen when I use the IPOD. I think it is the cable. It fits better with the IPOD. If the cable is loose, the sound will cut in and out.
